旬を知る

野菜や果物の「旬」って言えますか?

旬の野菜や果物には、そうでない時に比べると倍以上の栄養分が含まれているというデータがあるらしいです。しかも大量に出回るために、他の季節に比べると安いですよね?そして野菜などは人間の採るべき時に必要な栄養素を含んでくれているのです!旬を知っているか知らないかで、経済も健康も良い方向に向かうので、知っておくに越したことはないと思いますよ♪

ちなみに私は花粉症がひどかったのですが、色々調べたところ漢方で言う「水毒症状」というモノだったので、「旬の野菜以外をほとんど口にしない」という約束を守りました。3年目には、「あ、マスク付けている人がいる・・・そんな季節かぁ」というようなレベルまで症状が出なくなりました。

冬に本来出回らないはずの、夏が旬の野菜・・・トマトやキュウリやナスなどをわざわざ食べたりすると、「夏野菜=体を冷やす」という効果があるために体内の水の循環が悪くなってアレルギー症状を引き起こす一因になっている・・・という説に非常に納得したのです。
比べて「秋冬が旬の野菜や根菜類=体を温める」という効果があるために、年中摂取しても構わないという話も、私にとっては非常に入りやすかったです。

砂糖分や果物なども採りすぎると循環系を悪くするというのも、糖尿病の症状(手足がしびれるなど)を考えると判りやすいですね。だから必要最低限だけを採るというレベルで抑えています。ビタミンを摂取するという意味で毎日食べるのは構わないと思いますが、バクバク食べる必要は無いと捉えています。


ということで、子供たちにも「秋になるとね~、ブドウや栗が美味しくなるし、サツマイモとか出てくるね~」と生協のカタログを見たりスーパーの野菜売り場に行っては話しています。bianはそろそろその辺も判って来ていて、青果売り場を歩いている時には、「あれ、こないだまでメロンは無かったよ」とか「スイカって夏にできる野菜なの?」とか聞いてくれます。生協のカタログを見ては「ふーん、栗ってイガイガに入ってるんだ!」と興味津々★果物収穫ツアーとか連れて行ったら楽しんでくれそう~と考えてはいるのですが・・・まだイチゴ狩りしか行った事ないな~(それも生後5ヶ月とか?^_^;)サクランボ狩りやナシ狩りも企画したのですが、行けませんでした。

私が見守っている子供たちには、「幼稚園を卒園する頃には自分が普段食べる野菜や果物が、一体いつ頃収穫されるモノなのか?は知っていて欲しい」と私は願っています。
そのためには家庭菜園が一番判りやすいのですが・・・マンション暮らしであるからにはミニトマトや葉っぱが限界でしょうかね・・・エリストに引っ越したらバルコニーが広くなるので、植木鉢やプランターを並べて季節の野菜を楽しめるように努力したいと考えています。

今は高松のVul両親の家に行けばミニ畑が広がっていて、大根を抜かせてもらえたり、スナックエンドウを採らせてもらえたりするし、名古屋のVul弟夫婦の家ではトマトやナスを収穫させてもらえたりします。NameP実家ではサクランボを取って食べたこともあり(非常にささやかだったのに・・・贅沢品!)、やっぱり子ども自身が「いつ遊びに行った時に何を取ったか」で旬を身に付けてくれることが望ましいですね♪

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My blog has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement. Do you know any methods to help stop content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
